I'm just curious to know if anyone went through this. I looked at so many places and the ones I fell in love with were out of my budget. I would love to get feedback to see what everyone says.

I would have said Oheka but I went to meet with a BM last weekend and I was kind of disappointed with the ballroom. The grounds outside of the castle are absolutely gorgeous but in order to get the look I want I would have to spend thousands of dollars extra to drape ceilings and walls and to get the right linens that Oheka quickly fell from what I always thought it would be. So I am going to stick with my cheaper sandcastle and do all of the things I want with the money I am not spending on Oheka
I couldnt agree more. Oheka was the first place FH and I looked (we are both from Huntington and dreamed of getting married there). And yeah, the price was a tad bit outrageous, and I hated the fact that you had to stick to their vendor list or pay a fee, but we both were highly disappointed in their new ballroom (no offense to anyone who is getting married there though - it is still a gorgeous place!).

apparently some people where offended by my opinion of Oheka castle's ballroom. I am not trying to offend anyone but at the same time I am not going to take it back because that is my opinion. But my opinion wasn't meant to offend anyone.

i don't think i could even answer this question because we only looked at halls that were in our budget and right from the time we walked in, we fell in love with CLM so I wouldn't pick any hall over our choice!
