What's different about your wedding?

That you haven't seen anywhere else in person and know your friends or people on this board are not doing??

I only have one bridesmaid (she's also the MOH) and one groomsman. That's as unique as our wedding on a budget gets hah

My FSIL's will be performing parts of River Dance (Irish Step Dance) and my FH will be playing/singing a song for me!!

My guests are going to be blown AWAY!!!!

I'm having the actual spanish salsa singer performing at my wedding, thanks to my cousin that is his manager.

We are using beach grass as our centerpieces and instead of using bow with the chair covers, we are going to having roping to make it look more rustic/beach.

FH wanted this size bridal party - and I was against it. After all the drama I have had - I WISH I had agreed! You are soooo lucky!!

I was thinking about it and although I'm not done planning everything, there are a few things:

1. Cupcakes instead of Cake
2. Disposable Cameras at the tables for guests to take their own photos of whatever


I really want a bagpiper at my CH or as we exit the church...

I booked a bagpiper to do a half hour before we enter the church and a half hour after the ceremony is over. FM if you need any info.

I think I did see someone with this idea too on here...we are doing a cigar bar instead of a cigar roller with after dinner drinks

..also instead of a seating chart we are doing a variety of antique picture frames with the names and tables hand-calligraphied on them.

We are doing a cigar bar too, even though one other person already said that. We are taking our pictures somewhere totally not traditional, um, my BMs are wearing leopard print shoes...I guess thats really all so far!

ETA my BM are walking out to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, I am walking to Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney and our processional is Then He Kissed Me by the Crystals. I love our music selections

* we wrote our own vows
* a dove release after the ceremony
* a choreographed first dance (a slow foxtrot)
* 'mustache' sticks at the reception (paper face parts on a stick that people could hold up to their faces)

We are also special ordering Cazadores for the bar.. it's the BEST tequila! EVER!
