What should I do? Spend 2x as much for flowers now?

I paid Gina in full already. She just emailed me yesterday saying that she'd see me this Saturday with my wedding flowers. I've trusted her this whole time and now I'm calling all these florists to see if they even have the resources and how much it would cost. BUT what if Gina's texts and emails to me are true and she is going to show up with my flowers?
Then I would've paid $1K-$2K more for a 2nd set of flowers that I didn't need. What should I do???

I am really very happy that you found a florist that was willing and able to help you and for cheaper. Now you can enjoy the next few days leading up to your wedding and deal with this when you come back from your honeymoon.


AFter all the drama you have been through the past couple of days you deserve to have the best damn day of your life.....

I am so happy that you found someone to step in and help you out!!

Enjoy your wedding day to the fullest and put this drama on the side until you get back from your HM. This is your day and don't let anyone or anything stop it!!

See Carol is the sweetest, when I was talking with her this morning she was saying how they were getting calls and were trying to help everyone out. I'm soooo happy this all worked out for you!!!!!!!!!!! You have to post pics of these gorgeous cp's you will get now!!!!!!!!!!!!

im so happy your working with burtns
i loved them they were so nice and great but when we changed dates of the wedding they were away on vacation so they refunded us our deposit but i was really excited to work with them. i cant wait to see your flowers. hope you get some justice from gina

OMG, this is such a horrible situation that you are in and i'm so sorry. I think it actually makes it worse that you heard from her because it makes it even more confusing. At this point with all of the crazy stories people have posted I would go and book another florist. Get the minimum (I know, it sucks) because in the end at least you will know for sure that you will have flowers


ITA I would book someone else and sue gina for the extra expense

Gina worked out of her home? Did the ladies using her sign a contract? I am looking into using someone who works out of their home for my manzanita branch centerpieces and I am now starting to rethink it.

@Queenpeach....I am so happy that you were able to get your flowers from B*urtons.

I have been reading the recent posts and I just can't imagine this chaotic situation. I feel for any bride who would have to go through this days before their wedding.
