What size photos do you get?

What size photos do you get?

Help! So one of the photographers I was interested in says when they give your wedding photos back they are 8x10 300DPI hi res. Don't you think that is strange? I know 8x10 is a decently big picture size ...but Why wouldn't you give the full size photo?

That sounds really strange, 8x10 is huge?? I would call them to clarify it makes no sense. I'm picturing a stack of 1000 8x10's and I'm scared for you lol

does he mean digital or physical proofs?
My physical proofs were 4 x 6

My DVD photos are 300DPI hi res.

My package includes 11x14 photos. I have not got them yet but they would not offer this size if it is not sharp.

I did print an 8x10 size over the weekend at CVS and I cropped about 1 inch off. The photo was clear and I don't think it would be unsharp if I printed it larger.
