What sort of church is the Congregational United Church of Christ?

What sort of church is the Congregational United Church of Christ?

Ok, so I know about Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Baptist, Jewish, Muslim, Christian Science, etc, places of worship.

DH and I drive by a Congregational United Church of Christ, and I have no idea what they are about.

Can anyone fill me in?

There is another one that I wonder about but the name is escaping me right now...

my fathers family is Congregational...it is a Protestant sect...old time from the settlers...They tend to have a more loose interpretation of the Bible like Presbyterians and some Lutherans and Baptists
