Cracker Barrell!! I love the little crap store in the front.

And Dairy Queen. Everytime I see a commercial for the new yummy they are rolling out, I get so

HEB Marketplace (supermarket)
Taco Cabana (Patio style texmex fast food)
Marble Slab (which we had for years before Cold Stone Cremry)

Cool Post... Mine would have to be:

Dairy Queen
Margaritaville

There was also this BBQ place in Orlando but I can't remember the name.. but it was SO good that I told DH we needed one up here.

ETA: Found it.. Smokey Bones... and they are opening one right off the LIE in Ronkonkoma..

Buca di beppo is amazing italian food. They have one in Naples Florida. The closest one to L.I. is in Jersey..YUM

I completely forgot about them!

They have one in Philly too!

I guess I have to say Cracker barrell NICE targets and Cheeburger Cheeburger/\. We go to the one in {t. Washington, but I wish there were more of them. So good. SO fun and So reminds me of Florida!

There was one in Lynbrook...over by the train station. Not sure if its still there though?

Also, Cafe du Monde, or I wish someone would start carrying their coffee. I love it!

Definitely Cracker Barrel, but thats obvious!

I also went to a Carrabbas (spelling?) in South Jersey two weeks ago, and the food was amazing... I saw there is one out on 347 in Suffolk now, but I want one closer to me!

Hmmm!!! Maybe they've made a *comeback* in Queens (there was one on Northern Blvd in Jackson Heights in my 'need cr#p on the way from from being out' heyday!!).

Def Sonic & Denny's but also Fry's supermarket, I've been to them in Arizona, they make the best fried chicken!

definately cracker barrel but it isnt likely folks - we actually wrote to them last year about starting one on the island and their response was ny is not being cinsidered for cracker barrel country stores because it doesnt fit with their style.

we went back and forth with them for weeks trying to convince them to move over to suffolk county but their customer service people finally stopped replying to us.
oh well we tried.
