We got ours back on last night around 9:30 p.m. We did lose it again overnight from 2-5 a.m.
I am at work in Woodbury now and we're up and running, although lots of people I work with had no power all night! I consider myself lucky I guess.

I got mine back at around 9:45, and then it flickered at around 10:30 but we never lost it again.

A firend of mine in Holtsville had half of his house with power at 8:00. We drove by their house, and on he way we passed a gas station, that was mobbed there were 20-30 cars waiting to get gas. On our way home we saw another gas station with the smae thing happenening.
a friend of mine in NJ only lost it lost 2 hours!!

a friend of mine in Oceanside got it back at 8:30PM last night. Valley Stream got it back at 2:20AM. RVC and Freeport have their own power supply so they never were without it.

not all of Freeport had power b/c a collegue of mt fathers called her husband to see how he was and they had no power for a few hours...and rockville centre was out for a bit too - just not as long

It was either 4:30 or 5:30 I remember Frankie saying the power is back and that the cordless phone was beeping and that he brought the fan in. I just rolled over and went back to sleep.

you are lucky Karp volvo did as well as a few people who were there this morning who said they live in Rockville centre and had no power - my mothers cousin lost hers for a few hours as well

I helped my SIL by watching her kids because she was stuck in the city. She had power too...but I know that quite a few people in RVC did lose power. We got very lucky!
