We got ours back on last night around 9:30 p.m. We did lose it again overnight from 2-5 a.m.
I am at work in Woodbury now and we're up and running, although lots of people I work with had no power all night! I consider myself lucky I guess.

JENN...I was watching two kids and I love kids but I like it when I can go home. All that poop and spit up...believe me...it wasn't like I was having fun all night.

I used to live in RVC. I forgot they had their own power supply. I knew I missed living in RVC for something!!

8:00am and its still on. I cant believe my neighbor has is central AC and his pool filter running. Do you know the meaning of the word CONSERVE!!!

kelly - you lucky girl!! i knew RVC had power because my mother and brother were doing stuff at his deli and they had no idea what was going on....but i forgot you lived there too! i'm jealous!!!

SORRY....I thought you read my previous posts...
My SIL was stuck in the city, her husband was at work (FDNY) and her nanny had to go home....SO...Aunt Kelly to the rescue! I watched my 3 month old nephew and 2 year old niece all night. I love them to bits...but they are a handful!!!

I got mine at 7pm last night...my family that lives in Port Jeff Station didn't get it until 4am..it is very strange how my friends who only live about 1 mile from me in the same town had no power until 12am and I had mine since 7pm....glad to have it though, wish I was off from work. I heard Smithaven Mall only has a few stores open but they have no AC..

The power came back on where I am in the city at 8:30 am, other parts of Manhattan (south) were still out, FH was at his parents in Richmond Hill and still hadnt gotten power back since I last spoke to FMIL at 11 am
