What time did your power get restored?

We got ours back on last night around 9:30 p.m. We did lose it again overnight from 2-5 a.m.

I am at work in Woodbury now and we're up and running, although lots of people I work with had no power all night! I consider myself lucky I guess.

In Merrick ours just came back about noon. Here at work in Hicksville, not until 1:30. I suffered all night long

We got ours on in Sayville around 1:30 am. I woke up because DH had turned on a small, hand-held battery powered fan because he was too warm. He then declared he was going downstairs to sleep because it was cooler. Just then, we got our power back and the window fan kicked on. I told him it was God's way of saying he should stay by my side.

On another note - the offices and manufacturing plant I work at just east in Bayport had power this AM until 9:40 then we lost it again. At 1:00 they finally decided we could all go home. Unfortunately, I still have some loose ends to tie up before my vacation can start Monday, so I'll have to go in over the weekend, or on Monday for a few hours

3:30 am which also gave me back phone service and finally heard from DH who had been trying to call me all night. He finally was able to get a cab and walked in at 5:30am.
Today we are both zombies. I couldn't sleep all night not knowing if he was ok. He of course got no sleep.

Like LizD - Mine just came back on at about 1:00 - 1:30 this afternoon!

I'm in syosset and the power came on around 2:00 this afternoon,

I had no gas and when I was about to get gas was right after the power outage last night so I was stranded without a car and had to rely on people for thier cars, it really stinks I felt so helpless without my little car!!

I got mine back at 4:30 this morning. I stayed at my friends a mile away until 1:30 am and was terrified to walk up my driveway in the dark and into the dark house. It felt spooky.

6am, but LIPA put my neighborhood on watch & told us only necessary electric

Ours (Queens) came on at 8:15am. I just got my internet back (we have a cable modem thru time warner) but I still don't have cable.

I got power back at 8something this morning..
many people still don't have power, including some liw girls who live in the city. If they do not get power back by 8pm tonight, I'm going to go scoop them up and bring them to my A/C for a while

Mine came on around 5:30 PM TONIGHT!!!! (floral park, queens) Boy was i gettin p i s s e d. We had just gotten back from bringing our perishables to FIL's house, and the power was back on!!! Murphys law huh?

here in levittown around 1240 or so
when I got home from my moms at 115 it was on but when I left at 10am I still had no power

Tracy: 5:30 in Queens I also live in Queens (Bayside) and we got it back this morning around 8am. I thought all of Queens had gotten their power back around that time.
