mine originally talked about arriving AFTER hair and makeup, but a bunch of my BMs are getting ready with me at the RH, so i feel like it'd be nice to have someone there in case things start getting chaotic . What did you girls do?

Mine is going to be going to the church before she comes to my house to make sure everything is set up there and she should be arriving at my house after I come back from my hair appt. (before make up starts and before the flowers are scheduled to be delievered). While I am getting my make up done she is going to be making sure that all the flowers are correct so I won't have to worry about that. Then after everyone is ready, she's going to make sure everything is ok with my dress before leaving to go back to the church.

After the ceremony is done she is going to be going straight to the RH to make sure everything is being set up properly there before we arrive.

My hair person came to the hotel at 6 am and my DOC came at 6 am as well. She was with me from 6 am until 6 pm when DH and I drove off in our car service back to the hotel that night.

I believe she even helped my mom and step father pack all the stuff into the car at the end!

Just how much does DOC cost?

Are they worth the money?

I want her there like 10 min after I wake up lol.

As for how much they cost, they can go from $400-$1000...depends on the person.

I'd look into Vanessa from Topaz Event Design or Chrissi from Fairy Tale Events...both wonderful ladies and very affordable!!

Check out Sandy's thread here: http://www.liweddings.com/chat/topic-683428-1.html for more DOC recommendations and some details about why you might want one.

They can range a lot in price, from about $350 for a few hours to over $1k. Ours was running a special (as I believe she is now) for under $500, and we added on having her come to the rehearsal to help out (since we got married at the RH) and meet everyone the night before.
