OK, so my MOH is supposed to move home end of May but it just got pushed back again so she wont be home until the end of July...I am so anxious to ask her but I wanted to do it in person... What do you girls think I should do, wait another 2-3 months (I would take her shopping and we would go try on dresses we cant afford like we always do and then ask something about her choice of dresses and she better decide which style she likes bc we need to order her MOH dress soon) or ask her soon over email...(the idea behind that is sending her a picture of a dress and asking if she likes the long style or the short, then when she asks why I will say something like 'bc you need to be comfortable on my wedding day standing up on the altar with me...')
What do you think?

very romantic. send her a will you be my moh card. and a pic of u guys when u were younger? or liek send her a package ..with things that are personal to u guys.. like inside jokes etc.

I would ask her now over the phone. I find email to be too impersonal to ask her something like this. I knew who my MOH would be all along and we tried for weeks to get together my plan being to ask her in person. My engagement party is next month and I wanted to ask her before I see there so I asked over the phone. I also found out she's pregnant so it was double the surprise. I would have liked to do it in person but since we don't see each other often with our schedules, had to do it this way.

i got my moh the card and a pair of tory burch flip flops lol flip flops were just cute so i bought her a pair for the hell of it. i might do the cookie,too.. but i dont think i can wait much longer.

i asked one of my long-distance BM by sending a 'will you be..' card...but i put it in a larger envelope with confetti and streamers and such. lol.

If you have the patience, I think you should wait. Hopefully her arrival does not get pushed back again.
I have absolutely zero patience, but I made it almost two months before I asked my BP. It was frustrating and annoying, but I held out because I really wanted to ask them in person.

I asked one of my bms through an email! But that was because she was over in Iraq and I couldnt wait anymore! So clearly I would be impatient and not be able to wait!

I was so excited to ask my MOH and BMs to be in the wedding. I actually blurted the question out the first time i saw MOH after I got engaged (which was 12 hours later btw). For everyone else i waited a few weeks, but it was totally worth seeing their expressions when they opened up the card and the gifts I got them.

what if you send her the email and tell her to call you when she gets it. that way she can see the pics but you can then ask her over the phone as well...combine them both

i made everyone cookies shaped like a dress similar to the ones seen online. and added their initial to the dress. i also made them each a special card. i'll post pics when i get home.

I have to add I didn't ask the rest of my BP yet, only my MOH. I'm waiting until at least Aug-Sep so I am positive with who I am asking.
