What to do/bring/have already done for a hair trial???

Original post by Lori-Chris2008

My hair trial is this Thursday!!! What did everyone do to be prepared.

Did you wash your hair the day or or day before???

What did you wear? does it matter? or should you try to have style of your wedding dress just to see how your hair will fall etc.???

Tip should be 20% right?

Anything else I am missing???

TIA

I dont have my veil :( is that bad?

no it isnt, just make sure that you def go over with the stylist where the veil would be placed. This can make or break a hairdo - might flatten curls for instance if you dont want the veil placed lower, rather, you want it higher on your head

Have you picked one out or know the style that you want to wear?

Yeah I picked it out.. It went in by a comb... ???

Dont worry about having your veil. I didn't have mine -- I am sure she will have one to use as a sample. The sample one I used is nothing like the one I am ordering but you still get the idea of it.

don't forget she is a pro so I wouldn't worry to much about it. Bring in pics and don't be afraid to say you don't like something or want to see different things. I was the first time around -- the second time I had her do a million different things and I left there a much happier person!

Many stylists have a few veils on hand for trials :)

if u plan on washing your hair the day of the wedding than u should wash it before your trial...i just know i would want to feel really clean on the day of the wedding and when i dont wash my hair i feel gross..

camera - of course

hair piece and veil (if you dont have it yet dont worry. I ended up not being able to use mine and now i have to sell it b/c i cant exchange it. I wish i bought mine afterwards)
tip $ (i did 20%..15-20 is good)
I didnt even think about wearing something i could pull of my shoulders like my dress..some girls did this. I could still get an idea even with wearing a sweater so it wasnt a problem

Pic ideas of course.

And wash your hair the day before..less flyaways that way.

Have fun.!!!
