FH and I are invited to my friend's wedding. It is a Saturday night wedding in February, but it is not at a traditional RH. It is at a rental hall, catered in.
I'm not sure what would be considered appropriate or inappropriate in terms of dress. There was no mention on the invite about attire. FH said if she's still wearing a wedding dress, we should still dress up. But I don't want to look foolish in either direction, overdressed for the location, or under-dressed for the day and time.
Outside of going out and buying the classic little black dress, my options are:
1. Dress 1
1. Dress 2
It's hard to tell in Dress 2, but the length of the two dresses are the same.
Which one do you think is more appropriate, if either? TIA!!!

I like them both. Since the wedding is in Feb, the pink one might be cute with Valentines Day and all But regardless, they both look great! Wear whichever is more comfortable!

I think you could really do either. I might go for #1 and you could always tone down jewelry which makes a big difference. It could still be pretty fancy even at a rental hall - if they are doing decorations and stuff. Is there anyone you could ask?

I think you could wear either dress and be totally fine. I really love the pink one though!
