what do you wear under your dress? lol. obviously underwear (all my friends said underwear, yes they think it's funny lol) don't I need a like high quality corset/strapless bra where do people go for these things? lol. or do people just go to Victoria secret?
my one friend said nothing but she's like flat lol. I can't imagine nothing my girls need something holding them lol.

There are specialty shops that you can get a corsett. Georgette's in Hicksville is where I got one for a friend's wedding. I also heard about Mary's in Woodbury I think?

What did they put u in when you tried on your dress? I went with my own stuff and they put me in a corset and said it would be best for me in that dress. When I scheduled my first fitting they told me to bring my undergarments but if I don't have them they will tell me my best options when I come in and I can buy them there if I want. I guess it depends on what you're comfortable in.
ETA: I personally wouldn't go to VS. There are other places with better quality that will find your exact fit. I'm going to try Blum's in Patchogue first.
a corset thing and it was painful but it wasn't really my size I think. either way I didn't like it lol. I wanna go find something. VS I love for bras etc but I feel like wedding day I should get something like with a better fit.

I just went to Mary's today actually. It's in Woodbury. They were excellent. They fitted me with the perfect option and even tailored it on the spot. Wasn't terribly expensive either.

I went there with my friends one day. She told me she could tell my bra size when I had my coat on! Too funny. Just bring some nose plugs because the lady work measures you has bad under arm odor.

aside from underwear, i'm not wearing anything under my dress. I wore a bra when I went for my dress fittings, but I ended up taking it off and the dress fit fine.. So i'm just wearing underwear, no spanx, no bra. Comfort is key, and I find bras and spanx incredibly uncomfortable

I hoping for no bra! My consultant said maybe cups sewn into the dress but I really don't wanna wear all that stuff underneath. I'm all about comfort!

I am a 32DDD, so I really HAVE to wear a bra all the time lol. I wore a long line bra I got from the bridal shop. Super comfy and no issues whatsoever. Wasn't expensive either - I think I paid about $40.

I think it depends on your dress. I am full busted and originally had a corset from davids bridal. But when I did my fitting, it looked way better without anything. The dress itself had some kind of fabric built in so it really was not necessary. And when it was fitted for me, my girls were not going anywhere....first time ever that i can go bare!

Blum's in Patchogue is the greatest place for bras. I don't know about formal wear but the staff is always very helpful.

I had cups in my dress. I'm a D cup so for a little lift for the ladies I wore one of those no back adhesive bras. Gave me a nice lift and a little bit of cleave so I didn't look completely flattened out.

I will probably have cups added to the dress and might look into spanx too.

I might have cups added to mine because the boning goes down the front, not on the sides, so it's an easy option - but I'd prefer to have a strapless for pictures :P Some dresses don't work with corsets - mine doesn't because there's already so much boning and my slip comes up so high it'd be too many unnecessary layers. I'm also going to wear cute lace boy shorts (again, for pictures) and then at some point before the ceremony change into a thong once my dress is on …I don't want to be uncomfortable all night!
