w/a strapless dress---do you think a drop necklace looks best or a necklace w/a design that goes around the entire neck (not a choker though!)......my dress and my bm dresses are both strapless-----mine has a lot of work on top theirs has some!

My dress is also strapless, and has beading on the top. I am most likely going w. a simple pendant (saw one at Swarovski). I am wearing a tiara, so want to keep it simple w. my necklace.

I'm going with a simple pendant too, which matches my tiara--I thinkit will work better for a strapless gown with a lot of lace/beadwork.

Pick where you want the sparkle. If you have a really sparkly tiara, keep the necklace simple Can you post a pic of the dress

I have the same problem, only the detail in the dress is in the back, not much in front. I just posted a topic about this (didn't see yours) with a pic. I was thinking the same-something that goes entirely around the neck but not a choker. My FH gave me a pearl and amethyst necklace that goes all the way around, it's also rather delicate, and I'm thinking about that...just don't know.....I'll keep an eye on your post for ideas and you can keep an eye on mine

Mine is also strapless with some sparkly beading detail at the top. I'm also wearing a tiara so I'm going to keep my necklace simple by wearing the diamond cross my FH got me when I got baptized recently.

i have a very sparkly tiara, but regardless.... I'm going to be wearing the diamond heart necklace that FH had custom made for me for my first Xmas present from him!
