What was

Original post by Sandradv121

the best piece of advice you got from another bride about weddings?

My friend basically encouraged me to hire a DOC. She said it was the best thing she ever did. Her DOC, who is now mine, kept her mother in law away from her, made the day run so smoothly and handled everything without stressing the Bride and Groom. She told me to keep the stress at bay, to let someone take charge of the wedding.

Re: What was

all of my friends & cousins who are married at seperate occassions have told me to remember:

that it is the most important day of your life but it is only one day of your life & not to stress over everything. the wedding is really about me & FH getting married & not all the material things.

they also told me to stress most about my dress because that is the one thing that me & FH will both remember years from now.
