V&S, Glen Island was our first visit also, I HATED those snobs!!

Our last was Crest Hollow, we booked them 3 days later!

Looked with my mom at The Larkfield Manor, Watermill, The Meadow Club. Went with FH Stonebridge, The Thatched Cottage, Three Village Inn, and The Meadow Club. We Both love The Meadow Club so days later we booked it!!

Mistyeyed- Maybe it was just the guy we met with but we didn't get a good vibe at all, plus I wasn't too crazy about the bridal suite or the room we would have ended up with for our minimum.

That was exactly our problem! The guy we met with made us feel like he was doing us a favor by letting us see the place, treated us as total pee-ons. Everytime we gave him a date and asked if the price was still 150 a person he would say 'yes, we can book it'...like 'we don't need you'. SO obnoxious!! He then offered us Thursday July 3rd for 100 per person!!! The idiot!

And I hated the bridal suite attached to the cocktail room. The ceremony room was beautiful, but the cocktail room just looked WAY too small.

They just ****ed me off.

Mistyeyed- The big room on the main floor is beautiful with all the windows around it but we would have had to use the small room upstairs that was very small and had no windows at all.

That's where they were going to put us too. Our ceremony would have been in the room with the windows...overlooking everything.

We just didn't feel the whole vibe of the place.

First one we looked at was Stewart Manor Country Club

We then looked at sans souci, swan club, george washington manor, sand castle, westbury manor and douglaston manor...

We went back to stewart manor cause nothing else compared (for us)

Oh and we kinda saw villa victor but it was being worked on so we didnt want to book somewhere we didnt know what it would look like.
