What was the best baby shower gift you got? I am about to be an aunt and need advice!!

Hello all,

My brother's fiancée's shower is next weekend and I still haven't gotten a gift!! I want it to be special, this is the first baby in my immediate family and was thinking of getting them a camcorder or a digital camera... but I wanted to ask, what was the best baby shower gift you got? And how much should I be thinking of spending?

This was for my bridal shower but it can work for a baby shower too.

Get them a camcorder and tape the entire shower. If the Mom-to-be asks who it is just make something up. Then after she is done opening all her gifts say 'Oh wait there's one more' and hand her the camcorder. Now she has her shower on tape

Oh, that is such a cute idea!! and I don't think either of them is very techie, so they will need me to figure it out anyway!! What better than a real-life demonstration!!
