What was the BEST engagement present you received?

One of my close friends just got engaged and isn't having an engagement party. I want to get her something sentimental (not extremely expensive) and memorable. Any suggestions?

How much do you want to spend? Things Remembered has a whole bunch of really nice stuff, and you can engrave almost everything in that store. Maybe a picture frame or something with their names and their engagement date engraved on it?

My friend got me a subscription to Bride's Magazine. It was really helpful and sweet!

one of our BM got us Vera Wang toasting flutes! it was the first thing for the wedding we got and i cannot wait to use them!! they are $50 @ fortunoff!

we gots lots of nice stuff from our e-party. i think the Lenox toasting flutes stand out the most. i think we got them from cousins of my fmil so its sweet that they thought that much of us, i know they must have cost a grip.

we can't wait to use the...they are from someone special (my brother)

My friend recieved a scrapbook that another GF made. It was absolutly beautiful. I was brought to tears looking at it. It took them through the years that they were friends & then when her & fh were dating, she also included pages to put pictures from the bachlorette party, shower & wedding. (if your feeling creative)

Margarita and Martini glasses. I got like 100 sets of each

FH and I got this beautiful crystal statue. It had a wood base and on the base was our names and our wedding date engraved. It was beautiful. It was actually a gift from our flower girl and junior bridesmaid

I have a couple. One was from my registry, two weren't...

Not from the registry, my grandmother bought us beautiful a waterford unity candle set.


Second gift, not from the registry, my MOH bought me the Martha Stewart wedding planner.

Matching robes with our names engraved on them! I know they were purchased at fortunoff. I think that is my favorite so far!

we got lots of nice things but that bottle of dom p....that went to the top of my list....we smile when we think of what we will be doing when we pop that bottle!

Mine ws the engagement party itself, from my mom and MOH, and my MOH did a slide show of me and FI and our 'growing up' days, and it was the best thing I've ever seen in MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!
