Ours is Villa. I'd say it was the decor over all, and people rave about the food. FW loved it more than any place we saw. So it was good by me.

reputation for food, the extreme patience and personal attention the chef gave to us, and the outdoor garden

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
A whole lot of stuff did us in but the main one was 'one event at a time', that was important to me.

We loved how they spent time with us. They weren't rushing us out (like one place did) And the grounds they are amazing!

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
Its beautiful setting on the Great South Bay...the food...the re-decorating...the wonderful banquet manager...one wedding at a time...the reasonable price. The ONLY thing that bothered us about it is that we really wanted to book someplace on the North Shore, closer to home and closer to the church, but we decided that was something we could get over, and we have! :)

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
The Scotto Brothers reputation for food and service and then we saw the grounds and I felt like I was part of a different era. I loved it!! And it was the only place FI liked too!

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
The fact that it was low key. No one knows too much about it. so it will be a new experience for everyone. Plus the price was better than I expected!!

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
We looked at a few places and all were really nice but we both fell in love with FH the moment we walked into the room. I love the decor and as far as smaller rooms go the Briar Fox was perfect for us - totally our style.

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
The fact that it had one wedding at a time, is on the water, and had more of a mansion-feel than a hall-type feel...I totally ruled out anywhere that had metal chairs (the silver ones with padded back and seat). I just hate how they look.
