There were a few things: 1 wedding at a time, we loved how charming and romantic it was, and we loved the beautiful outdoor ceremony location overlooking the water.
ditto for me

For me it was the setting - I love the views of the water! The food is also really good and wedding coordinator is wonderful. We looked at so many places and I wanted something where I had a lot of choices and felt elegant.
same for me

Ours is Villa. I'd say it was the decor over all, and people rave about the food. FW loved it more than any place we saw. So it was good by me.
Same here!

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
my sister had used a scotto brother location for her wedding, so I knew I wanted to use one of their facilities. Loved everything about Westbury Manor EXCEPT the banquet manager I spoke with, who was incredibly rude and unhelpful. . . however, after I told him that I was ready to book except I didnt want to work with him, he became much more agreeable - no surprise. . . It's a wonderful facility and I'm sure I just caught a manager on a bad day.

Re: What was the deciding factor on your hall?
EVERYTHING!!!!
The thing I was looking for in a hall was windows and chandeliers and gardens.
Giorgio's definently has all of that. SOoooooo beautiful. Most halls have one wall of windows and like one chandelier. Giorgio's has chandeliers Everywhere!! It is just breathetaking.
Gardens and LI Sound on/near premises is such a great plus.
George Jr. and Sr. and Suzanne we met with them all, they are great and so nice and helpful.
We went one night to their restaurant to try their food, well let me tell you, amazing.
We have gone to bridal shows at some catering halls where they only had appetizers out and even that was not to our tastings.
So if you are deciding where to have your wedding.... definently have Giorgio's in mind.
Well, it was a few things. The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing and when I walked into the CH room FH said my whole face lit up. (Flowerfield's CH room is an emormous atria that used to be an airplain hanger.)

Funny cause the Swan Club was the first (and only place) we saw.
They pretty much offered us everything we wanted (including our ceremony space which was a major question mark for us)... for a good price. There wasn't anything we didn't like so we were like... what the hell.

I liked that the Riviera didn't 'sell' themselves. It has a unique look, great food and is still very reasonably priced plus they only do one wedding at a time

A whole lot of stuff did us in but the main one was 'one event at a time', that was important to me.
DItto .... & location, menu, style for me

A huge part for us was that we could get married on the beach. We also loved the beachy feel of the place and that it was 'formal' than other places we'd seen. It's fairly expensive, but we feel like we get a lot of food and top shelf liquors for our money.
