mine was lamour east -it isnt there anymore it was on queens blvd in elmhurst but i went on ne wwave night it was called the edge lol

I think I may have been to Danceteria first but I danced with Anthony Michael Hall at The Underground in 1984 (or so).

I seriously don't remember my first, but it had to be at the age of 15 --- either Pops (popagalos) in Astoria or some cheesy place in the city.

We used to go to a place called Lithium. I think it was in Bayshore or something. OMG, I used to love it there. I was like 13 or 14 and would tell my mom I was going to my friend's house and her mom would drop us off there. Granted it was all under 21 people, but still, we were young. That was like Sunday nights when there was a vacation from school the next day, but we would also go Friday's when it was called Caffeine. For such a good kid, I did a lot of dangerous things! It was Paled's on Queens Blvd in Rego Park.
Paled's is now Goldfingers for all those playing at home.. (not that I have ever been there.. well.. it was just once.. Bachelor party in 92.)

But paled's .. yes... it wasn't a dance night though.. I went on heavy metal night.

My freakin' ears were ringing for a week.

Umm in HS we used to go to see shows at spiral and CBGB. My first real club experience was spring break, a place called walden 8 in barcelona...and then olympic city. Then here I went to a bunch of bars in the columbia area. I've never been to a bar in long island...You'd never know I was a hofstra student

Caffiene in Deer Park. Loved that place! But I was one of the rare ones not rolling or smoking up!

Chevy's and Metro 700 were other favorites of mine back then.

Camoflouge in Bayside on Wednesdays... it was new wave night... also used to go the Edge every Friday night!!

me too i went to the edge every friday first when it was at lamour east then went it was further down queens blvd at the place that became a strip club. did you ever goto berlin? it was at silver screens on friday nights?
