any one gave you for not coming to any of your events like e-party? Shower? B-party? Wedding?
The worst one I got was from a woman who said to me - 'Sorry I missed your shower, I had to do laundry'

Well, I can't really fault them because it's a issue...but my cousins from Kansas arn't coming because they already came to NY for my Uncles big 4th of July party...and they knew my wedding was coming up. Now..I understand that $$ is an issue, but jeez people...some priorities would be nice!
fireworks can't be as important as my freekin' wedding!

One of my friends said she couldn't leave her daughter (who was 6 months old) with her husband during my shower b/c her husband was afraid to be alone with her for more than an hour.

We also had about ten people on DH's side not come to the wedding because they were mad at someone who was coming.
Oh my goodness...FH sister and her family aren't coming for the same reason
