1. Delivering Newsday at 12. 2. Babysitting randomly 3. At 16 and 1 day old, I started a job at Taco Bell - I hated it lasted 1 month and moved on UP to Lynbrook McDonald's. I had so much fun there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes it seems that kids these days think these jobs are 'beneath' them -- and who lets them believe that? Well, their parents first of all... what a shame!!

I had soooo much fun at my McDonald's too. It was all kids from HS, that were from different cliques. We always hung out together afterwork, and everyone got along great.

Re: What was your very FIRST job!???
I was 16 and I was an 'intern' sort of like acorss b/w a camp counsellor and an assistant teacher at a musical theatre camp. I ran around with a group of 8 year olds and helped the teachers teach classes in mcuis, dance, voice, acting etc, and I helped direct a short play they put on at the end.
the next year the offered me a job as an assitant music teacher, but it was only paying $600 for the whole summer so I turned it down. I made a lot more $$ selling cars

I also worked for the Golden Arches (mcds). I was 16 and left there when I was 21. I had so much fun there. I moved my way up to management and became 'boss'..LOL I made so many friends, and every Sat. night we would all go out! If my parents werent home, everyone would be at their house (even when the midnight shift ended)..LOL Its nice to live close by. Wow, this thread brings back some really fun memories! Oh, and this is where I met DH too.
