Original post by MrsERod

Karissa's post on the lunch thread got me thinking about my very first job at the age of 15....it was at David's Cookies at the South St. Seaport! YUMMY! I used to looooooove those cookies!!
(and the cookie batter wasn't that bad either!! )

So, what was YOUR very first job!!??

Well I won't consider babysitting so my first job was a ride operator at Adventureland....then I also volunteered time as a teacher in a daycare....now I'm there full time as the head Pre-K teacher!!

A Telemarketer when I was like 15. Off the books, like 2 cents an hour...lol...I dont even remember what it was for...I think it was tree spraying.
Who would say yes to a 15 year old I dont know, could be why I left.

Camp counselor at 16. Then freshman of college worked part time in a day care center. I am a NYC public school teacher. I find it amazing that I haven't had ANY other jobs that didn't have to do with children.
