We aren't doing the the garter and bouquet toss and the receiving line since we are getting married at the RH. We want to start pictures right away.

bo-k garter toss running through tunnel thing-bride/groom reception introduction probably the parent/groom and parent/bride dance unity candle sand ceremony BM's in matching outfits grooms in tuxes
oh, and FH and I are walking down the isle TOGETHER, and our bands will be on the right hand, not left (but truthfully, both are northern european traditions, so they don't really count)
not much left, huh?

heheheh, yeah, we did. I will still be in an ivory gown with a veil and bo-k, and FH in a tux... oh, and we're having a full catholic mass.... so some tradition remains, I guess

not getting married in church (didnt work out ) ceremony music- Van Morrison, James Taylor, etc no receiving line no bp dance (uncomfortable!!) no bride groom running through tunnel thing no unity candle (sand ceremony instead) grandfather walking me down aisle (father is passed) and Ivory dress (diamond white actually but looks ivory..i dont like stark white on me at all)

-Not getting married in a church (we're both Catholic) ceremony is at the RH -Not doing the bo-k/garter toss -Not dancing with siblings (I am sure we will dance with them but it won't be a spotlight dance) -The ceremony music is contemporary (using some Enya, Beatles, Coldplay) no Cannon or Here comes the bride -We are taking pics at Old Westbury Gardens before the ceremony -Having a wine ceremony instead of unity candle

No:
bouquet toss, garter, parent dances ( I dont' feel comfortable with my dad), no religion, no unity candle ( we are doing a hand binding ritual, father walking daughter down the aisle ( i am not sure what i am doing about this yet) receiving line

doing garter removal and bo-k toss, but no garter toss. I think that's it!
We also can't seem to decide whether or not we're doing a parent dance...my dad is gone, and FH has his stepmom, so he feels bad if he were to have the dance and not me. So he just suggested maybe I could dance w/his dad and he could dance with my mom...but then I feel bad about his stepmom!!! oy!
no BP dance...everyone will just be invited to dance w/whomever they want to.
STILL not sure who's walking me down the aisle - or if I'm going alone! It's either alone or going halfway with one brother in law and the rest of the way with the other brother in law.

What we ARE doing is an All Girls dance dedicated to my mom instead of the BoOk toss AND a full on Soul Train line after dinner..Can't Wait!!

probably no rehearsal dinner, no boquet/garter toss no announcing the bride and groom no making the bp dance together no seating arrangement (cocktail reception--think about it, ladies! It's a lot of fun, and you don't have to figure out a seating plan!!)

No BoK / garter removal or toss. No goomsmen No bridemaids No Mother / Son Dance (she didn't want to do it ) No long boring speeches. No cake cutting ceremony.
It's going to have a lot of great dancing, drinking eating, and general debauchery though!!
