We're not doing lots of stuff!
we're doing pictures before the ceremony I'm having both my parents walk me down the aisle no unity candle/sand ceremony/whatever ceremony--just the wedding ceremony. No bouquet/garter toss no receiving line no announcement of the bride & groom or bridal party no special dances other than our first dance Also--no rehearsal dinner, I'm wearing ivory, and all my bridesmaids are under fifteen!
Other than the first dance and the cake cutting, we want this to be more like a really good party, not like so many weddings we've been to that feel totally scripted. After you've been to a few, it feels like you can tell what's coming next by your watch.
However, I have been told that we are going to have a hora. All I can say is, that if my FH expects anyone to lift us up on chairs, he better invite some of his weight-lifting buddies from the gym!

We are taking pictures beforehand. We are not getting married in a church. Our ceremony is at the reception hall. We are not doing a receiving line since we are going to our cocktail hour right after the ceremony. No bridesmaids, GMs, FGs, or RBs. Only a MOH and a best man. No garter toss or bo-k toss.

No... father walking down the isle, my two sons are walking a little ahead of me (not enough space. (they are giving me away too)
rice bo-k throwing (playing muscial chairs) no garder (same thing)
no sit down (would you like chicken fish or whatever dinner *tons an tons of cocktails all night long
no tunnel bridal run in dance
no father mother dances.....dancing with our children together (family dance)

--did pics before ceremony --married at hall instead of church --contemporary ceremony music (all i ask of you played instead of here comes the bride) --no tunnel thingy that the BP did over us --NO participation dances

The only one I think the only one we aren't doing is the father/daughter dance. My father passed away 10 years ago and so I'll be dancing with mom.
ETA: No tunnel thing (FH is too tall) No father/bride down the aisle (itll be mom and my brother) Oh and no guest book/picture thingy

Not getting married in Church, we are being married at RH. No receiving line we are going to CH right after Ceremony. No Father-Daughter Dance ( My Father has passed on.) No Mother-Son Dance (FHs Mother has Passed on.) No Cake smashing I think that is childish and tacky. No being lifted up on chairs. No Pictures of Bride with Mother & Father (Both have passed on.) No Pictures of FH & Mother. No Ring Barer (I'm having a Ring Girl) No rice, birdseed or confetti bing thrown. No Chicken Dance or Alley Cat Dance being done. We are taking our Pictures before hand. No Parents walking me down (My Aunt & Uncle will be doing that.)
