Re: What wedding tradition are you NOT doing?
We are trying to do as many as we can think of... in fact I am looking through this thread to solicit NEW ideas. Some of them are just so campy and fun!
The only thing I definitely won't do is the bride and groom under the bridge... I don't have a big enough wedding party!
ETA: Both my parents have passed on so I can't do some of the parent/bride things... but I will have my kids walk me down the aisle.

Re: What wedding tradition are you NOT doing?
All of these traditions are great and meaningful in their own way.
We are getting married at RH, so no receiving line. One parent deceased and my parents divorced so no unity candle, we are doing a united family ceremony instead. We are doing the bo'k toss, don't know yet about the garter toss, but their will be a removal! There are only about 3 single girls and 4 single guys, everyone we know is married! Cake smash is TBD!
