What will you call your in-laws????

My FH and I were having a discussion about this. My parents each call their in-laws mom and dad. FH parents call their in-laws by their first names. We don't know what to do.

What are you ladies doing?

A agree! NO ONE will EVER take that 'honor' away from my mom. Only my mother deserves that title. Sorry. Thats just how I feel

Well... My FH always and forever will call my mom Ms. Murphy... hahahah its so funny...

But I am even worse... I just don't call them anything... I just like start talking randomly...

I AM SO WEIRED!!!

I have no clue!!? I think there first name...

I'm the same way , it's so funny, but I think maybe I'll call them by their first name not sure

As soon as we got engaged they told me to call them Mom & Dad-no more Mr. & Mrs. as I had been doing. It is still weird, I have actually only called FH's dad-dad once and never called his mom-mom yet.
My FH wants to call my mom-mom, she is ok with it, I think, even though my BIL & SIL call her by her first name.

first names. I would feel too weird calling them 'mom'
and 'dad'.

FH has called my parents by their names since day 1..hes a smarty

I still don't call them anything. It's usually just ' How are YOU?'.

I don't think that I will ever call them Mom & Dad though...has nothing to do with them, it would just make me uncomfortable.

I call my fil bytheir first name, but my mother did not call my grandmother anything. For over 30 years (until my grandma's death) she just randomly started talking! To this day we tease her

I call my FMIL by her first name because she ask me too, and my FFIL never said anything so I call him Mr. M.
