What would you do???

What would you do???

So let's say you are in a bridal party and the bride lives out of state. Therefore half of the bp is on Long Island and the other half of her bp is in the state she lives in. Therefore there are two bridal showers and two bachelorette parties. Now the LI bp invites the out of state girls to the bridal shower and bachelorette party here....knowing they probably won't go but to also let them know they are totally welcome to take the trip....and actually one girl is coming.

Now the problem - the out of state girls don't even tell the LI girls what they are doing....now a week later we find out they threw the bride a shower without inviting us! We had no idea, we didn't even send a little something!

Would you be upset? Would you express this to the bride or keep your mouth shut to keep the peace?

I would say something to the bride...thats really shady that they did that to you...Dont keep your mouth shut on this one. You never know that if at the wedding another BP member has a few too many drinks and says something nasty to one of the out of state girls...

it will probably be me at the wedding all drunk and say something like 'hey you, ya you the biatch who didn't invite us!'

1st of all these girls have no class. I would totally be POed if I was you. That's just wrong and inconsiderate especially that you invited the other BP to LI half.
I wouldn't say anything to the bride, why upset her? Let her be happy and save her the drama that has nothing to do with her

I think this was the angle I was gonna go with....just say something not to start drama just to say that I would like to be kept in the loop with that stuff so we can be involved and send something.

i would just tell the bride something innocuous like 'im so sorry i missed your party!' you should definiteyl say something to the other bridal party so that they know that its NOT ok for them to exclude you guys.

That was really shady of them. I have OOT BM's and if something simiar happend to them, or vise versa I would want to know for sure.

I would just let the other half of the BP know you're dissapointed you werent invited, but not start anything. I wouldnt say anything to the bride b/c she probably has alot going on right now w/ wedding planning. Try to work it out w/ the other girls first w/o the bride. Keep the peace!!

ita agree but I wouldnt want the bride to think that the LI girls were invited but just didnt come...

I think that is QUITE rude of them to do! I would say something to the bride, but approach it like 'I wanted you to know that the reason I didn't send anything was because I wasn't invited...' or 'If I had been invited, I would've known to send a gift earlier.'
