If a week before the bach parties- the bride and groom want to entertain the idea of possibly having the parties joint.
If you were the MOH and BM- would you be upset by this? Would you get mad at the couple?

Re: What would you do?
it would drive me crazy if a lot of time and effort was already put into it but i would suck it up and combine them if that is what the bride and groom wanted - it is a party in their honor!

Re: What would you do?
What if they wanted to justtake the plans the MOH had made and have all the guys join in?
FYI- 90% of the bridal party is married to each other or dting for a LONG time.

Re: What would you do?
Has there been a lot of energy and effort put into it? Are reservations made? If so, I'd be a little upset.
But if that's what they want, then that's what they want. Remember, the idea is to do what the bride and groom want to do.

ITA with everyone else. It depends on the amount of planning and preparation that goes in. But I also think, the MOH and BM may get mad but they'll get over it real quick. I think if that is what the bride and groom want, then that is what should be done!

I think it is fine. You just have to know your MOH. Is she the type to freak out? or roll with the punches? My Moh is my sister and she would be a pain in the azzzzz about this. I wouldn't even dare bringing it up with her.

Re: What would you do?
I think it is fine but I suggested this to one of my BM's and she flipped. So I guess it really depends on the person. I don't care either way but apparently my bm is excited about having a girls night out....lol.

Re: What would you do?
Well it's really the groom that wanted to do the joint. The bride would be fine with anything.
The groom doesn't want strippers involved but somehow, the BM thinks it's a requirement to a bachelor party. He just wants a night out with the boys doing something new and exciting...not involving naked women.
He told the BM and he thinks that the groom is lying.

Re: What would you do?
It would depend on whether I already had everything planned and whether it would be possible to do the parties together.
Honestly? A week before I'd probably be POed. If it were always that way, it wouldn't bother me to plan it as a bachelor and bachelorette party combined.

Re: What would you do?
I guess we all get the bachelor party sadness/anger/fight/ whatever other emotion but, me...I go through FH wanting to do it together and (as men do) coming to terms with this last minute.
I feel bad- his BM isn't listening to what FH wants to do. The BM says he hates strip clubs but umm- apparently he feels it's a right of passage to becoming a married man. No to mention, this is my relative!
Uyyyyy- so frustrated, I would do anything to make FH enjoy his day and I just know he feels bad because BM isn't doing what he would like which is gamble or do something fun...
our BP is all married or dating for a long time except for the BM.

Re: What would you do?
I think it depends on how much planning went into everything already. If alot was planned out then I would be upset but I do understand what everyone else is saying about how it's what the bride and grrom wants.

I would not get mad. Even if I didn't agree with having a joint party, I'd keep it to myself and go along.

Re: What would you do?
Well- I have repeated it in my head a thousand times. I dont see a reason to get mad. The whole bridal party is dating and or married to each other and I'm sure 90% of the girls in the BP wouuld feel 100% better knowing their FH's arent at a strip club.
I was just trying to save a potential disaster from taking place before our wedding. I'm sure none of the girls are anticipating the guys to do what the BM has in mind...
Oh well- I hope FH works it out with the BM and finds a way to get his point across because so far it's been muted and they have been pointing fingers at our relationship...
Which isn't the case. I trust FH and want him to go out with the boys- just in a civilized way...like he wants.

Re: What would you do?
If I already had the party planned I would try to work with the BM to combined both of our plans. I would prob be annoyed OR can do individual parties and a combo one?

Re: What would you do?
Well we are keeping our plans as is- so no one gets upset.
The irony is- we thought by combining them no one would get upset. We thought it would be best for everyone
I guess we are stuck between a rock and a hard place for now- hope that things go smoothe at the Bach party and the BM listens when he says no strippers.

Re: What would you do?
it really depends on how much time and MONEY you have kicked in for this... only a lil bit... it is for them. go with it... if you did put in a lot of work, then it's on them(but you cant fight it out now anywayz) let it go and go with the flow!!! They are probably worried about strippers and want to watch out for each other...lol
