Thanks for posting! It's interesting that almost the same percentage were either happy or unhappy with their flowers.

I wonder if people aren't happy about flowers because at first they aren't a top priority.
I found it interesting people regretted splurging on programs. I plan on making mine for under $20 (100-150), I couldn't justify spending $1 each.

I completely agree, I couldn't fathom spending $1 each. Especially since I'm always looking to toss them once the ceremony is over, so not worth it! I'm going to try to DIY

ITA mine will cost about 20 also. The time is taking too design them is another thing. But it's fun so I'm fine with it!

This is great!! I have spoken to a few of my friends who are already married and asked them some of these items! It is a great way to budget!

Great post! Interesting how some of the commments in the article stated that paying for a good photographer is very important! I agree! Reapplying my lip gloss will be a must as well! I already do that now anyhow. LOL

Great article! I def agree about flowers, invitations and programs. They are pretty, but ultimately end up in the trash. The other thing I am glad I did not go overboard with is the price of my dress. I originally had my eyes set on a $5,000 dress although it was super pretty, I loved the dress I ultimately went with and it was much, much cheaper. I just could not justify spending 5 grand on something I would only wear for a few hours. Also, I probably could've lived without the photo booth. I honestly had no time to even enjoy it. Me and my husband have no pictures in it of just the two of us. And, 50% of the picture taken are of his little cousins lol.
But whatever - weddings are expensive and you only live once so you can't worry about this stuff while you are planning! Just enjoy it and do what you want :)
