What would you do (this is so not funny, but it kind of is)
Original post by MrsHtobe
if you booked a vendor, gave them at $550 deposit, and then. . .read in an article. . .that they have the HONOR of being one of the 6 worst companies in their state, as per the BBB!!!
I'm thinking I eat the deposit and tell everyone how much this company $ucks so that they don't book them too!
What would you do?

I was going to say it depends on how 'your' experience has been with him, but it doesn't sound like it has been that great. That sounds like a lot of complaints against him and his response kind of speaks volumes. If you feel that you are going to be really nervous and worrying how things are going to turn out, it may be worth taking a loss. It doesn't sound like he said much to reassure you. But, you will have to decide in the long run what is best for you. Good luck!

Because I know who the vendor is I would def. cancel because if the things that are written about the vendor on BBB are true then it might upset you on your wedding day. If I didnt know who the vendor was I would say every experience is different but he is just an A-HOLE

I would say it depends on what it is for as well BUT it seems anyone who knows who this is about feels that you should cancel so maybe you should??

I think you feel very uncomfortable with him and I would totally try to get my deposit back!!! If you put it on a credit card, it will be a lot easier to get it back...GL I too am curious to see who it is...!!!! !!!!

i would do what you said - cancel and warn others!!! In the very least - post the article...since the powers that be tend to take down any negative feedback on THEIR vendors.
