If it's spring / summer I say flip flops. If it's cold, chinese slippers.

Thats mine too. And if you dont get the right flip flops/chinese slippers they can be uncomfortable too. I am talking to this guy who I am negotiating a price with now....I was hoping to buy in bulk to save money so if you want in, let me know!

I think that if all the guests are wearing them then it won't be a big deal unless you are worried about seeing flip flops in the pictures. I know I've gotten flip flops at weddings and by the end of the night people are so tipsy/rocking out that no one really even notices or cares that they are in flip flops and not fancy shoes. I don't think the chinese slippers are really any more formal than flip flops and like you said, people would probably wear the flip flops again more than the slippers. Just my opinion though!

Very true, I'll probably even end up wearing them by the end of the night also...although as of now I'll be wearing flats w/my gown!

How about something like a ballerina slipper? It's a little fancier and probably more comfortable.

I agree! i acutally LOVE chinese slippers though i hate feet so i wear them instead of flip flops
