Im going to start looking and according to my budget on the computer it should be under 1700? Is this alot? What are musts that i should get? Dj and Mc? Lights? CH music? TIA

I am going with LI sounds...I think they are awesome
I am having them do ceremony CH and RH music
plus a steel drum for CH

I am getting a no frills lighting and dj/mc package for just under 1k w/ cocktail and ceremony included. High Energy Entertainment. Then again my wedding is in march could be 1k for a different month.

i went with a family friend that my sister used to work for..his standard package is about $1,300 and ive been to like 4 weddings that he has done including my sister and my mom's

I second that. They are very affordable (their packages cost way less then the other DJs and you aren't compromising quality) Glen was def the nicest vendor we met with and he has so many helpful suggestions!
