I want to do a donation in my mother's name to the a breast cancer foundation, but my dad is skeptical as to where the money really goes. My FH also doesn't want to just do that, but I'm not sure what I can pair it with. If I just did regular favors, I also have always loved the LOVE coasters, but FH is not a big fan. I also like the letter opener, but one of my BM did it for her e-party.

probably doing m&m's in my wedding colors...baby blue, platinum, white...with personalizations on the m&m's.

That is an awesome favor...I LOVED IT!!!! I was out numbered though...so...we are doing salt shakers with a built in pepper grinder...

Thanks!!!!! I like them...I actually forgot to mention that I am also (with the help of my bridesmaids) baking my mom's famous brownies (Marilyn's famous brownies). She used to own a deli in Westhampton and everyone came from all over to get them. Sadly, she past away last Easter and my sister thought this was a great way to honor her. I figure I will get small bakery boxes and attach a cute tag explaining why I chose to make them. I'm hoping my catering hall will pass them out to guests as they are leaving.

If I had 2 dimes to rub together I would do the Godiva wedding cakes... but can't afford that...
So we are doing CD's. I'm on the fence about doing a second favor as either a Hershey's bar with a custom label or a donation to an animal rescue organization. Funny, the guests I know that will appreciate the chocolate bar will not appreciate the donation (those are the guests that call me a 'cat lady') and vice versa - so I can't win...

I was thinking of making those strawberries dressed as tuxedos, and putting them in a nice box. i would do more than just that, but i thought they would add a nice touch - something different than candies...
