Honestly, this one drove me crazy too.
Since our colors and black and white with a hint of green we are getting large black and white cookies in a cello bag tied with an apple green ribbon. There will be a tag attached indicating that we will also be making a dontation to our charity.
Sorry I dont have a pic but I figured it would be yummy, fairly painless and right on target for what we wanted to spend (even though it's a lot of money for d@mn cookies!!)

This one is driving me nuts too! I really want to do bottles of wine, but am having a hard time finding a deal as I can only spend 6 a bottle and want it to taste good. Another idea I got from my DOC is a website called bakingforgood.com. It is baked goods where a portion of the proceeds go to the charity of your choice and it says it on the tag.

I originally wanted the 'Fall in Love' glass coasters for our favors. But then I decided on doing edible chocolate menus instead of paper ones.
I had my heart set on the coasters, so what I did was I used them as our seating cards. We did labels with the guests name and table and our leaf design and put them on the coasters.

We made our own home brew!
FI and I love microbrews and have been making our own beer for roughly 2 years. For the kiddos we'll be making Loganberry, a regional beverage to Upstate.
Batch 1 of 3 Labeled. We still have to tag it w/escort/thank you tags but I don't want to do it till couple days prior:
I LOVE the UPC Code I made with our wedding date!

We did a set of (4) ice cream bowls and everyone LOVED it!! They colors were pink, blue, yellow & green (I could only find a pic of the pink one)

we are doing bottles of wine as our favors, we got the cases from PIndar this past weekend they are having a sale 25% off cases

we are doing individual ice cream bowls (1 per guest). We are both huge ice cream lovers (we have it every night) and it ties in well with our Ice Cream Sundae bar we'll have at the reception for dessert.
We purchased them at WeddingCenterNY.com (they have a lot of great favors on that site for a great price).
We did a photobooth so we had these frosted glass photo coasters (2 per person, 4 per couple) that fit the photobooth photos perfectly! I have my pictures in there and they look so cute!

I think we are doing a donation for the wedding. Maybe a little chocolate or cookie to go with it.
For engagement party we are doing lottery tickets with hershey kisses (hugs).

We're going to do a donation and probably give something edible along with it. We're thinking of giving mini cupcakes from Crumbs...yum!
