Um, I actually logged back onto the computer to write this, that's how much I hate this..... I have something against ESPN in the bedroom. I don't know why. Oh, and a sponge that gets left in the sink. I always pour my coffee on it in the morning.

One of my all time pet peeves: people who chew popcorn loudly at the movie theater!!!
Also, I have an issue with phlegm - people that snort their phlegm or blow their nose in a restaurant. That's so disgusting.
People who get in the express lane in the supermarket but have too many items and the cashier doesn't stop them.
FH constantly picks at his cuticles or bites his nails. Drives me nuts.

Men who don't get up and give their seats to pregnant women on public transportation.
When FH clears his throat loudly and often as a nervous tic. Makes me want to strangle him.
OK - where I live in Queens, it seems to me there are a lot of 'prized,' 'adored' and overprivileged teenaged boys who have this insane sense of entitlement that allows them to do 80 on Eliot Avenue and up and down Juniper Valley North and South. In their $50,000 BMWS. Tell me WHY a 16 year old boy need a car like that? His parents needs to have some sense knocked into them. Can't wait til one of them mows down an old lady on her walker or a young mother pushing a stroller. I have seen both have to dart out of the way for these a$$holes. One of them had the gall to honk honk honk at FH and me the other day as we were waiting to turn left (had to let the traffic coming from the other way pass) and then he flipped us off. And sped off at about 80.

People that don't know how to hold a knife and fork and/or cut their food properly
People with bad table manners in general. Like not knowing where to put the napkin, chewing with an open mouth, blowing nose at the table, applying makeup at the table, or even just leaving the utensils all over the plate at the end of the meal. LOL, stupid, but it annoys me like crazy...
Bad drivers (all the reasons have been mentioned)
People that 'size me up' and then pass judgement on me (or anyone) upon meeting me or when they're looking at me (men or women). I hate when anyone assumes they 'KNOW' me just from looking at me.
People that aren't smart in terms of current events and the world around them
People that breathe with their mouths open
Gum chewing, ESPECIALLY when it's done with an open mouth. Looks horrible, even moreso when women do it.
Bad shoes. On men or women. And nasty feet in open toed shoes. Or men in sandals. YUCK!

tooth paste in the sink & hair in the sink & on the floor....totally disgusts me, even if its my own.
thrilled...your neighborhood sounds like mine (N Flushing)...we have tons of teenagers/20somethings who fly by stopsigns..in their suped up cars (don'tknow where they get them??) and then honk at ME!! when I am running and actually make them come to a FULL stop!!
In the year I've been there...there have been 3-4 accidents on my corner...b/c people disregard the traffic signs!!
Susan: when I have a sinus infection...i have to breathe through my mouth!!
what is the proper way? My mother taught me the European way...(fork in left hand)...or is either OK? someone asked me if I was left-handed...

Ok, here I go... -People who have big A$$ SUV's and don't know how to drive or park them -people who snap their gum -people who say Ummmmmm everytime before they speak -people who clip their nails on the trian (it's soooo gross) -people who keep sniffling- Jeez, get a friggin' tissue! -TOURISTS who stop in the middle of the sidewalk to take pictures of God knows what - Drama in general

Erica, fork in left hand is correct. But I HATE when people 'wrap' their hands around their fork when they cut meat. Holding utensils wrong...drives me crazy. It just looks so barbaric LOL. If your sinuses are acting up, you can't help the mouth breathing.
I thought of another one after someone mentioned the mispronounced words. I HATE when our president (or anyone) pronounces 'Nuclear' NUKE-YU-LER. UGH!! NOOK-LEE-YER!!!
I've never seen anyone clip their nails on a train before. But I'd be pretty grossed out.

Susans! YES!!!!!! It's a bit embarrassing when the President of the United States says 'nook-ya-ler.' My other pet peeve commonly mispronounced word is 'Supposably.' ACK! It's suppoSEDly. Remember the Friends episode on that? LOL.
