Whats the difference between...

The holiday inn express at Stony Brook and the one at Hauppauge?
Which is closer to the watermill

They are the same chain of hotels but one is on 347 in Centereach (even though its called Stony brook) and the other is located off the expressway in Hauppauge.

Hauppauge is closer to the watermill.

do they look any different or are the accomodations the same?

have you ever stayed there and did you like the experience?

I have never stayed at either! But Holiday Inn has a good reputation! I am blocking rooms at the one in Centereach! but before doing so I want to check it out just so I can be sure I am not sticking my guest in a dump...I doubt this but hey better safe than sorry, especially considering that I am probably going to stay there too!

ETA: if you are getting married at teh watermill, I really wouldnt consider the one in centereach. It is on the same road but its not that close to the watermill especially considering traffic and all the lights on 347 usually slow it down alot!
