I realized last night that mine and FH's engagement is EXACTLY a year and a half long (to the day!), from the date he proposed to the date of the wedding. Weird how that worked out; I kinda like that it's so specific because I'm a nerd.

2 years and 4 months... I'm pretty happy with this amount of time!
Get this: My girlfriend got married in July of 2005 and when she was looking for RH's, she met with an owner who was also a friend of her family. She told him she wanted something in Jan of 2006 and he said NO because it would have been a 3 year engagement at that point. He said the couples don't last in a long engagement and he simply won't give her that date!!! Can you believe it??? NERVE!
wow the nerve!!! he could have just said they dont book that far in advance!!!! omg... and whats it to him anyway????

about a year and 9 months.. we were supposed to get married Nov 14 2009 in St Thomas, had it booked and all, but then FH started a new job and wasnt going to be able to take vacation for the first year, and we just decided to change it

We got Engaged Dec 5, 2008 and are getting Married May 29, 2010. Sooo A year and 5 months.
We needed time to save, because we did a major life change a month after we got engaged. Quit our jobs, Packed a small Uhaul and Moved to Texas.
