Re: What's the most....
I'm pretty boring and a complete homebody....so I said the most exciting thing was my family trips to Martha's Vineyard....not too exciting but FUN and so memorable.
And what would I do with a year off.....decorate my house, RELAX, go on a cruise, read.
I'm dorky.

Fun questions! The most exciting thing I have ever done was working in the White House. I think I worked harder than I had before or since, but it was so rewarding and exciting.
In a year off I would finish my doctoral dissertation and travel around the world, spending time in the Galapogos Islands.

Re: What's the most....
Spent a semester in France and lived with a family in their house! I didn't know anyone else going on the trip but I learned a lot about myself, it was awesome and I am so glad I did it!

Changed careers...because I did it sooo fast. I was fired from a job and signed up for classes the next day. I guess its so unlike me because I usually obsess and contemplate every decision I make

I know one of our departments ask different questions like this. One is, if you could be a cartoon character, who would you be.

The most exciting thing I ever did was... transfer schools my senior year of college, because I wasn't happy...It was gutsy of me to do, no one could understand why I would do it. I ended up having many more opportunities at my new school, and more importantly ended up meeting my FI

I get excited over the stupidest things, but one of the most exciting things was watching the sunrise from the summit of Mt. Haleakala on Maui than biking the 38 miles down to the bottom of the volcano.

Re: What's the most....
Hmm. A friend and I took a bit over a month to travel through Europe - England down to Italy and greece and back up. It was SO MUCH fun. And when I was in HS I won a contest and got to meet NSync - which is so cheesy but I was totally starstruck
If I had a year off I would love to work as a wildlife rehaber again or do some field biology, or I would love to take more classes and work towards my masters. I know it seems cheesy to work if I had off, but there are some jobs I would LOVE to do but don't have the luxury of doing (they don't pay enough to plan a wedding and buy a home on LI)
ATVing across Aruba was the most exhilerating thing ever! It was so beautiful and serene, at one point I felt like me and DH were the only people on Earth.
