I would have to say 'bowling for columbine'. The gory horror movies don't get to me as much as this did b/c of the video footage of them shooting the students..it just really got to me and I felt disturbed after seeing it for a while.

Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses...
OMG...this is one of the MOST disturbing movies you will ever see! I wasn't sure what freaked me out more...the movie or that there are people in this world who would create a movie like this...
It was like watching an accident...pure morbid curiosity! The entire time I watched it I kept thinking...' W.T.F. am I doing?...W.T.F. am I doing?'

Three Kings. The way it went back & forth between funny scenes & torture scenes was really unnerving.
Or maybe it was just bad.
I have 1 hour photo saved on my DVR. Now I'm a little scared to watch it.
I haven't scene msot of the other moive s listed, b/c I am pretty they'd be disturbing.

Boys Don't Cry - I don't think I have seen another movie with Hillary Swank since.
Thirteen - because it is very believable and as a parent, it would scare the crap out of me.

I was going to say 'Gummo' but really that was just a poor film. Sucky, uninteresting, contrived.
I think 'Requiem for a Dream' because it was a great movie, but left me feeling uneasy for days. And even though it was good, I don't think I want to see it again.
OMG-I forgot about Requiem for a Dream, it was such a freaky movie, it totally disturbed me.
Definitely Requiem...I kind of want to see it again because I had to turn away from some scenes, but I kind of don't because I couldn't stop thinking about this movie for weeks afterwards...disturbing is the only word I can think of to describe it!

Yeah I found 'Boxing Helena' strange. I saw it during my David Lynch kick, so I gotta throw his movies out there: 'Blue Velvet' (I didn't quite get it at first, but upon multiple viewings, it's become one of my favorites), and 'Eraserhead' (I still don't understand the girl who lives in the radiator.
But the all time disturbing film was a short film called 'Cutting Moments'. The guy whose house they filmed it in lent me a tape of it. It has since been released on compilations. If you do searches for 'Cutting Moments' the movie should come up. Bascially it's a strange film involving strained relationshoips between a husband/wife/son. This movie is not for the faint of heart. The relationships crumble to the point that the end involves the husband and wife with garden shears in a surreal sex scene. Besides the 'Faces of Death' series, this was the first movie in a while that I had to turn away from.

After more thought, I am also going to throw 'A Clockwork Orange' out there as well.

white noise and the one iwth anna paquin-something about darkness. they ended with no hero.
wrong turn was nasty too. hence, no cabin fever for me.
the ring left me a little shaken, not stirred.

I haven't seem Saw yet, I'm too much of a chicken but I though 28 days later was great, very disturbing and it just creeped me out.
Seven Silence of the lambs- definitely my favorite in this genre The Accused- Another very disturbing Jodie Foster movie The mothman profecies(sp) The blair witch project
I'm a s ucker though, I love scary movies and psychological thrillers.
