What's the most disturbing film you've ever seen??

what was the movie with leonardo decaprio here he becomes lovers with a famous male poet and the movie follows their twisted love affair? at one point - he stabs his own hand with a knife....

Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses...

OMG...this is one of the MOST disturbing movies you will ever see! I wasn't sure what freaked me out more...the movie or that there are people in this world who would create a movie like this...

It was like watching an accident...pure morbid curiosity! The entire time I watched it I kept thinking...' W.T.F. am I doing?...W.T.F. am I doing?'

It's weird too...a co-worker recommended that movie...once I saw it...I totally run anytime I see him!

Boys Don't Cry was a great movie I will NEVER watch again.
Clockwork Orange was really disturbing to me as was the Accused. Couldn't stand to watch that.

Kids and Thirteen definitely. Kids bothered me for a long time after seeing it.

Butterfly effect was a bit disturbing too.

I haven't seen American History X. I started watching it once but didn't get to finish it.

I was just reading an article the other day about 'Clorox movies'. They are movies that make you feel so dirty and creeped out that 'bleach couldn't even get it clean'.

Not violent, really. It is basicallu the story of how a 13 year old girl who was a good student and pretty straightlaced kid gets caught up with a girl who is promiscuous, lies and steals. Her mom is clueless for a while, but then realizes that she is getting herself in trouble and the mom starts to have trouble controlling her. For me, it was just extremely upsetting to see how a good kid can self destruct simply to fit in with the 'cool' crowd.

oh most definitely, I cried the whole entire movie. I have never been moved so much by a movie like this. I refuse to watch it again.

Not really into scary movies...but the most disturbing was Eyes Wide Shut Those masks freaked me out and gave me nightmares

Its not scary but I found UNFAITHFUL to be incredibly disturbing. I was mad for like 3 days after seeing it, and I'll never watch it again.

It's not the most disturbing I've seen, but I have to agree with this post. I was unnerved for a while after this.

The Exorcist (shuddering just typing it)

Seven

To this day, I am too chicken to watch 'The Ring.'

Oh! And how could I forget 'Very Bad Things.'

OMG! Definately the one that was out like 2 years ago, CABIN FEVER? It was about a bunch of kids who go camping in some cabin and catch some flesh eating disease and dogs eat them alive etc.. It was more disgusting than anything I could ever imagine myself.

Who makes these sick movies??

so many freaked me out when i was younger.. nothing too much in a long time.. and nothing will haunt me like living through 9/11 so it's a mute point..

BUT here's what used to shiver me.

dawn of the living dead (black / white original)
nightmare on elm street
Hellraiser movies (the cube and PinHead)
Phantism movies (the Sphere and the freak)
Event Horizon

Everything else really just makes me giggle..aka.. Ring, texas chainsaw massacre..etc.

I was going to say 'Gummo' but really that was just a poor film. Sucky, uninteresting, contrived.

I think 'Requiem for a Dream' because it was a great movie, but left me feeling uneasy for days. And even though it was good, I don't think I want to see it again.
