I got engaged at 'The View'

It is in the city. It is atop the Marriott Marquis hotel.

45th and Broadway I believe.

I was very impressed. MY husband is so not the restaurant type so this surprised me.

It's Valentine's Day. I have a few leads that I researched already on the Net and also from people I know.. but other ideas are always a good thing and can be used for future reference. besides, I should make those reservations soon! Thanks for Ciao!

Cirella's in Huntington/Melville on Rt 110 near Northern State Pkwy. You will need reservations. Great food, this is where FH took me for dinner the night we got engaged.

In the city I would recommend Brossier 8 1/2
Up town near the park, really awesome food. They have this amazing pastry chef. The atmospher is very 'modern' and you might just run into a few stars.

The Water's Edge in Long Island City. Gorgeous view of NYC. Pricey but awesome. I may be biased though because it's where I got engaged.

For our first date...FH took me to a restaurant that overlooked the Tappan Zee Bridge....very beautiful. I think it was called the Lighthouse.
