Whats the rudest thing you have noticed at someone elses wedding?

Original post by Mrs Z To Be

I mean rude in the way of the bride and groom ..(if anything)

Last november, friends of ours had a wedding out in Rhode Island....It was extremely expensive to stay, plus we had to travel three hours,a gift, and take a day off work. Which was fun, so it was not that big a deal. BUT- this ticked me off, not once did the bride and groom acknowledge our friends....even at the wedding!!! They never greeted the tables...the wedding was about 150 people. I found that to be EXTREMELY rude.

On the part of the Wait staff, I was at a wedding where it took 20 minutes after the cake cutting before the realized that my table didn't have any dessert or cake. Every other table had received them already.

I wouldn't say this was rude, but I got an invite to a wedding 3 weeks before the wedding via ICQ... but the couple planned the wedding within one month.

something very rude... well FH and I went to his cousins wedding like 3 hours away, spent a fortune to spend the nite, and at the end of the night, they never once came around to say 'hi' 'thank you' or anything else. They had NO idea of who was actually at their wedding until they opened their cards of course. I understand being pressed for time and wanting to enjoy your day, but it would have taken very little time to just walk around to the tables, say hi, have a small conversation with everyone, and be on your way... at least then you'd know who was at your wedding, and they'd feel like you noticed they came all that way for you and you appreciated it.
