What's the worst date you've ever been on?

Blind date, first date, last date with someone - what happened? Give us the lame, the bad and most importantly, the funny

When I was in the last year of high school when on date with this guy and he just kept on bragging about everything tyring to impress me for what I do not know. Anyway while sitting in the theatre before the movie started I just happen to take a quick glance in his ears and OMG you can definitely go farming in his ears the way all that wax builds up. I could not wait for the movie to over to go home. I did not return any of his phone calls again.

I was talking to some guy online for like a year just as friends and we decided to meet. Thank God I decided on bowling LOL Its a great first date if you dont like someone because when I was up bowling he was sitting in his seat, when he was up bowling I was sitting LOL

Wanna know when I started thinking he was wierd?? When he took out THREE photo albums to show me and MOST of the pics were of plumbing jobs he did!! Can you imagine??

Me 'Wow, thats a nice looking toilet? And where was that taken?'

Needless to say I never saw him again

OMG....the first date I had after leaving my ex was with this guy who'd been kind of drooling over me for months so even though he was sooooo not my type, I finally said yes. I had to pick him up b/c 10 minutes before the date was to start he calls and asks if I can...I assumed car trouble thinking this guy must be legit (his bro. is a cop)...so I pick him up, he has on this ridiculous outfit...black jeans that were just starting to fade and a faux flannel short sleeve button down shirt I should've faked a call from the babysitter right then and there.....anyway, he explains to me on the way to dinner that he lost his license b/c of a DUI (dude, your brother is a cop and you still got convicted?!?!) and I'm like, yeah, this won't work....so then we eat dinner, it was awful...not my kind of food (it was expensive enough...just not my kind of food...i am not calling the guy cheap) then we went for drinks......finally after NOT talking for about 10 minutes he offers to call himself a cab home. I snapped 'No, I'll drive you.' I dropped him off and took myself back out with the girls.....it was sooooo bad I wanted to die, especially whena friend saw us at dinner and could see how miserable I was!!

I like these so far!

First AND LAST date was with a guy who was obsessed with his car. He was 21 and owned a new BMW. I could understand him being concerned about the car, since he did pay for it himself but he left a 90 minute movie FIVE times to go check on it. Who does that? Not to mention that during the movie (The Fast and the Furious - how appropriate) he kept making weird car noises during the driving sequences.

He also asked me to check my shoes before getting into the car - like I walked through a field of geese crap or something.

my family and I had a regular mechanic when I lived at home. nice Greek guy, we were all so sad when he sold the business and retired

anyhow, his nephew worked for him occasionally while in Grad school. he was really hot and seemed so nice! he asked me out and I was so happy, I couldn't wait!

during the first 10 minutes of the date I knew it was going to be a disaster. I like outgoing guys who are always quick with a joke. this guy was SO quiet and shy. But there was something else about him that rubbed me the worng way and I still don't know what it is.

anyhow, we went to Freeport for dinner and I couldn't WAIT to go home! he barely spoke. he was so insecure (and I don't know why!) and shy. the few times he did talk it was just weird

there were some other bad dates... but this was the 1st one I thought of.

chinese restaurant - after we finished eating..a cockaroach ran across the table...

I have to chime in on this:

Guy that I dated a few times but wasn' t really into-but he was nice enough..he asked me to come up to school and stay over night and we could go out and we would stay in a hotel room. Now I wasn't into him and I knew we weren't going to do the deed but it sounded like fun (i was really young)

I get there and he says we have reservations at a Japanese restaurant and we go..have a few cocktails and eat dinner..and he goes to pay the check.

HE WHIPS OUT COUPONS! (on no he didn't) YES HE DID!

He was never getting any now!!!!

He tried unsuccessfully. Left, I stayed in the room and drove home the next day.



I have a few others...let me think.

i dont have any bad date stories really. but i was dating this guy on and off for a year and i knew he had this on and off g/f of 8 years. we were semi dating for about a month. a week later he stopped talking to me (which was strange as we were friends for 3 years before that). it wanst anything serious, just a few dates. he got engaged a week after he stopped talking to me to the girl he was dating before me. i didnt mind really as we were just casually dating. but the wierd thing was me and him worked 2gether. i didnt know they got engaged until 4 months later. i guess that explains why he stopped talking to me. all i could think, was that i felt sorry for his FW.

ETA- i wanst a home wrecker, he always told me he had broken up with her. what a jerk.

i dated a guy in highschool because i was bored (i know sounds horrible). anyway, we walked back to my place and hung out in the living room. well, i went to go pour him some juice and when i came back, he was standing in the middle of the living room with his pants down and his buddy at attention!!!!!!

oh, did i mention that my parent were in their bedroom watching television,which he was aware of!!?!!

I like these so far!

FBIL is like that....FILs had a really nice car that they kept garaged but the other FBIL totalled it...so 2 weeks later, FBIL with the BMW demands he get the garage...and he's had it since....yesterday, FILs wanted to clean out THEIR garage in THEIR house so it didn't look like a mess anyway, so he had to park in the driveway....twice i hear him say 'a bird better not 'dump' (he said another word) on my car or i'll be POd.' OMG.....he parks this car out in the open all day at work and anytime he goes out.....birds can get it then! UGH!!!! anyway....his GF gets in one day in this outfit he made her wear (cause she needed to look good to go eat wings?!?) and it had beads on it...well the beads scratched the seat....WW3 broke out!! I don't know why she didn't dump him that day.

when i was in college i went on 2 HORRIBLE blind dates.

the 1st guy was so awful that i pretended to sprain my ankle to get out of continuing the date after dinner.

the 2nd guy told me i was mesmerizing and copied everything i did. and then proceeded to make-out w/ my hand- licking it and kissing it.
GROSS!! i was dumbstruck for a few seconds when he grabbed my hand and started doing it b4 i wrenched my hand away from him!

oh, man

I went out on a date with a guy and he took me to Hooters because it was 'the only place in town to watch the game'....he then proceeded to tell me that he gets 'so into' college football that sometimes he rips his shirt off 'Hulk Hogan Style'. I called a cab and got the hell out of there.

Well this is kind of my fault but.... I was home on LI for the summer in between my sophomore and junior years of college... I worked at TCBY and started dating a co-worker there (long story--but later found out he was dating a few of us at the same time and we all didnt know !).

Well I went to the Gin Blossoms/Spin Doctors concert at JOnes Beach with a friend and ran into another TCBY friend with her good friend from HS....well I pretty much fell for him pretty hard that night and for a long time (and he went to college near me, so we ended up becoming friends but I had a huge crush on him for a long time)...

I was supposed to hang out with TCBY guy after concert---well everyone came back to my house (family was away) and we had TCBY guy who was older get us beer or something....he slept over and just annoyed me that night (can't pinpoint now what it was-probably I just wasn't into him) and next day until I lied and said my parents were coming back early....so it was supposed to be a date but wasn't really and it was the worse like 12 hours with this guy!!!!

OK... which bad date to pick??? I have so many stories.

One of them...

I went on a date with a guy who could not shut up. He was so hyper. Jumping from one subject to another.

To top that.... I came up with a case of 'I have to go to the bathroom NOW'. Of course, the guy, which I could not wait to be done with, said ' you don't mind if we talk a bit more, right? We had just finished dinner.

Now, I am twisting and squirming on my chair. Wondering, when is that going to be over... 'man, I am not going to be able to hold it'.

Then again, blah blah blah..

Finally, 15 minutes later, I had to tell him I had to get up early the next day.

He tried to kiss me and just had time to turn my head. And in the car I go.... Longest 10 minutes to go home!!!!!. I could not mess up my new car. That would look 'bad'. I never hold on to a steering wheel so tight.

Of course, I thought that was so funny I had to tell my friends... we still laught about it!

Story #2.

Go play golf with a guy on a date. I got tired of sitting at a table for 2 hours. So I started to pick things I wanted to do.

He started fine. Then starts to tell me he does not want anything too serious. I said OK, good luck it's not what I am looking for.

Got home, then he started to IM me to tell me what he wanted to do to me... (very descriptive!!!!). I stopped talking to him!!!

Story #3

Met that guy. Not my type but he seemed nice online. Turns out to be a 'bit slow' for me. Then before we are done with dinner, he asked me if he could expect a kiss by the end of the night. I almost spit my food and chocked. I told him no. He was way ahead of me... LOL

I have a few...here's the first

I met this guy online & he was really into me, I thought he was cute and we had gone out to Applebees. We had an okay night but I was like 'I don't know.' He paid.

A few night later I was working in the city & this sales guy said he was selling his Rangers tix for the night b/c he was going out of town last minute. I told him I'd take them thinking I'd go w/ a guy friend that loved the Rangers....so I buy them. Said guy friend couldn't go (don't remember why) & so I say, OK I'll call 'okay' guy.

He was all psyched & said since you got the tixs, I'll take you out to dinner before the game.

He meets me at the Garden and I say, where did you have in mind for dinner....he's like well I haven't decided we could do Wendys or McDonalds.

So I start laughing thinking he's kidding.

Ummmm 5 minutes later we're standing in line at Wendys (NO JOKE) and he said we can share a soda but you can get your own meal.

I was MORTIFIED.

I had spent over $100 on hockey tixs & this stiff was taking me to Wendys & telling me we're sharing a soda. I was fuming the whole game.

He called the next day wanting to take me out that Friday.....ARE U KIDDING?!

Another time I met this guy online & we chatted for a few weeks and sent pics & emailed & talked on the phone. I wasn't sure about going out w/ him but he was diligent & asked me out 3x b4 I finally said yes. He said I have a really nice place in mind for dinner in the city. So I say ok.

He then goes on & on about how his car is a piece of crap & he hopes it'll make it. He shows up at my apt (bad move there) & leads me to a brand new PT cruiser...I still don't get why he was playing the act w/ his car. Whatever....

We drive into the city & I know already he's not my type but he's trying to hold my hand and he's also driving crazy. We get into the city & literally drive around the block 20x to see 'if someone left their parking spot' b/c the restaurant is down the street. At this point I say why don't we just pull it in a garage & he's like, I'm not leaving my car in a garage.

We finally find a spot & walk to the restaurant (now I'm starving) & its closed for renovations. He's LIVID. He's cursing & rattling the door. I'm like OMG. He's like, NOW WHAT?

I'm like okay bud, we're in NYC, I'm sure we can find someplace else to eat & I suggest a casual place, not $$$, I think it was America.

We sit down & he is on me about trying oysters and I'm like, I really don't like them & he's going on & on & said if I order them will you try it, I said, I may try it.

I tried 1 & didn't like it. I order something for dinner, the bill comes & he looks at it & then says, your share is $XXXX. I'm like ummmm okay.I start pulling it out and he's like, OHH I forgot you had that oyster, that's an extra $3.00

I was MAD. FIrst off he asked me out. He MADE me try the oyster & now I was paying...

At the end of the night he asked if I'd be his date new years (it was a week b4), I'm like I really think it best if we stay friends (I didn't talk to him again)
