what's the worst thing you've ever seen happen at a wedding?

The bride was ghetto and had the ENTIRE veil covering her face not just the blusher!!!! in the pics walking down the aisle you couldn't even see her face in any of the pics. my ex's mom had to get up before vows were exchanged and put the veil on her correctly. a mess!!!

please share your crazy wedding stories.

The bride was an hour late and the deacon commented, in front of everyone, as he started the ceremony about how she was late. Then, during the service the bride started talkin to her mother who was in the front alter while the bride was sitting on the alter next to her husband. The deacon started yelling at the bride and said 'ok, since you have something more important to say, lets just get this overwith. Come up here and do your vows'....it was uneblievable!!!!

Hmmmm......well I wasn't at this wedding but a reputable source told me this story from a popular RH......

Half way thru the reception the bride was looking for her groom. Couldn't find him anywhere. She enlisted the help of the bridal attendent who couldn't find him either. Finally the the banquet mgr found the men's bathroom door locked. He got the key and opened the door to find the groom and one of the groom's men ...... uh ...... doin it on the floor!!!!! He quickly shut the door but it was too late b/c the bride was right behind him and saw her new hubby doing the nasty with another guy!!!!! I believe the bride just ran out of the hall screaming and crying.

OMG THAT'S HORRIBLE!

LOL .. I witnessed .. the groosmen throwing chicken wings into the garden beds..
and the maid of honor saying about her sister who is the bride ' I hope this one lasts... you know .. the last one didn't last .. but I think you guys will work it through' in front of 100 people.. there was silence throughout the room! LOL

HOLY FREAKING CRAP on these stories here!

Mine isn't shocking but it was pretty lame. My ex from ages ago, his very young brother and his just-graduated-high school bride were in such a rush to get married. No reason- she wasn't knocked up. These kids had no $$ and were moving to Missouri to go to Bible School. I guess they wanted to get married so they could have the sanctity of marriage before sex.

So anyway, their reception was at a Knights of Columbus- a nice one, really. But this is where it gets bad- and it involves me. They didn't get a DJ or band. They didn't serve alcohol. No dancing. My ex and I were the entertainment!!! We had his keyboard and we sang stupid showtunes and played 'appropriate' music from the CD player!

My ex's family- the Italian side- big drinkers- were bored out of their minds and left like 2 hours into it.

They're still married and very happy with 2 kids, one on the way.

how about when a bm threw up 2 times at the alter during the ceremony and never said sorry to the bride? claimed to everyone that she got sick.. but ended up drunk at the end of the night?

yup.. that happened to me at my wedding!

OMG! So sorry to hear that. ONe of our GM was throwing up a few times (but at least made it to the church bathroom!) I didn't even know until months after though!!! he was discrete at least!!!!!!

The bride went to sit back down on her chair in the middle of the dance floor after the garter was tossed, the dj unitentionally pulled it out from under her and she fell on her tushy!! omg it was so sad, but we laugh about it now.

One of my coworkers wedding, she enlisted me to make her programs for her...but as a GUEST at her wedding, me and another girl that worked with us had to hand them out AND help decorate the church, all while people were being seated!!!
The 'coordinator' was putting the pew bows on the beautiful oak pews with GREY DUCT TAPE!!! All you heard was the tape coming off the roll it was so tacky. Then she announces at the back of the church (dressed in homade capri pants and sneakers that she just stepped into complete with her feet hanging off the backs) 'ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!!! ::clapping her hands to get our attention) EVERYONE!!! THEY GETTIN READY TO WALK IN SO HUSH!!! I almost died!!!

Oh, at my cousins wedding 10 years ago, the Justice of the Peace that was marrying them was DRUNK! Yea, he left the ring part out completely.....they just winged it and exchanged rings as he was announcing them as man and wife.

They divorced within a year though......I guess it wasn't meant to be!

As the groom was MIA, it was found out later on that he was doing the deed with a female guest in the elevator...COULD YOU IMAGINE?!??!!!!! Talk about taking a vow seriously.....yea for an hour?

Wedding of my father's cousin - two 'families' (read: mafia types) started arguing, throwing punches and eventually police were called. My parents and aunts/uncles had to run out through the kitchen!! Seriously!! Hence why that side isn't invited to my wedding.

Nothing seen yet, but hopefully not mine...

FH ex-finacee and her sister works at the church we are gettign married in.. WHen FH put the deposit on the church he ran into the sister and she said that she will be watching.. Hopefully the ez fiancee wont be there... He said i shouldnt be worried....

BUt what better way to encounter an ex fiancee than on the day you look the prettiest :)

My friends brother got married on a cruise. During the ceremony, helicopters kept flying by as they were saying their vows.
After the ceremony, the photographer was trying to take some more pics. Some kids ran past her and knocked her into the pool...with the camera!!! The bride freaked out and started yelling at the photographer, before she even got out of the pool.
The groom had a little too much to drink at the open bar (plus it was 100 degrees) and then disappeared for 45 mins to throw up.
One of the guests also had a little too much to drink. She slipped on the dance floor and sprained her ankle.
That's only a few events from their wedding day. I kept saying 'maybe a bad wedding will predict a good marriage?? 'LOL

LAST SUMMER MY FRIEND WAS AT A WEDDING AND BEFORE DINNER WAS SERVED THE BRIDE STOOD UP AND ANNOUNCED IF YOU DID NOT RECIEVE AND INVITE THROUGH THE MAIL PLEASE STAND UP AND ESCORT YOURSELF OUT. SHE SAID SO MANY PEOPLE WALKED OUT AND THAT RUINED THE WHOLE NIGHT.

At my niece's wedding this weekend, I could swear the priest referred to the bride and groom as C. and S@tan! His name is Jason, sounds similar?

We all did a doubletake, thinking we heard wrong, but the MOH and Best Men were convulsing so I'm pretty sure we heard right... I guess they'll know when they hear the video!

Ah well, could be worse! He's really a doll!

My first wedding was a disaster, I should have taken the signs years ago. It is easier to say what didn't go wrong. My mother was very controlling and made dealing with her ex, my dad a nightmare. She wanted exactly even for her, my dad and FMIL. When I suggested my dad sit at the end, cause he was walking me down and his wife next to him, she freaked. I told her the priest said that was suppose to be how it is, she ripped the priest up. She then showed up late for the church and made a huge scene that her boutique was missing. The band member's brother had a massive stroke b4 the ceremony so the band was terrible, he was also my ex's good friend. The photography was slightly electrocuted speaking on the phone, since it was storming so bad. The storm caused power outages also. The videographer was trying to pick me up all night. For the finale, my side of the family=mom, stepdad, brother-etc got into a huge fist fight with ex's family-mom, dad, aunt etc. 9 cop cars were called and my mom and sister's boyfriend at the time were stabbed and ended up in the er. It was terrible-glass was flying and silverware was tossed. It was uglly. I was held down in the bathroom-to not get involved-so my dress was destroyed too. I had laryngitis for my honeymoon and took up smoking again.

OMG!! some of these stories are unbelievable!

My story sounds tame compared to everyone elses... at my friend's wedding the groom's friend got completely trashed and she decided to flash everyone her 'full monty' during a group picture after she had stepped on my friend's foot (the bride). Everyone was talking about that picture all night. I can tell you my friend was furious at that girl!

wow... that sounds like it is straight out of a movie! hopefully tihngs go better the second time around
