Everything including tax & shipping will come to about $450

I had no clue what to budget so I just left it off. I got in a little trouble for that
We ordered 175 invites and it came to $450.

I spent a little over $1000 on I think it was 100 invites That's WAYYYY more than what I had planned to pay, but I was having a hard time finding invitations that I liked until I saw these gorgeous letterpress ones. I don't regret getting them at all - I loved them!

I also ended up going the letterpress route and definitely paid a pretty penny for it...well, LOTS of pretty pennies. I spent around the same amount as Anniegrl, maybe a little more.
ETA: I originally budgeted $500 and was convinced that *this* would be the one thing I could manage to have come in under budget.

LetterPress is a beautiful way of 'stamping' your wording on the invite...as opposed to engraving or thermography. There are many places that do letterpress, to look at samples, www.dauphinepress.com/ is a great start point.
Stamping is not really the word for it; a plate is used to hand press an image unto the paper leaving a beautiful indentation...this is one pic from Dauphine, many more there.

I bought 75 invites with all the accessories for ~ $300, from Now-and-Forever.com.
My total budget for invitations and programs is $500. I think this is the one budget I am able to stick to!

My budget was $200 for 100 invites. I wound up spending $485 and change for 125 (this included personalized envelope seals).

Ours came to $174 (including shipping and handling) for 100 invites, envelopes, RSVPs and RSVP envelopes. I ordered the paper from paper-source.com and am designing/printing them myself. Here's what they look like: booklet invites from paper-source.com
I'm psyched to be doing our own invites because I'm crafty like that but I am also hugely jealous of the girls who got letterpress! SO beautiful!

Way over budget! Approx. $500 for invites and matching insert cards for accomodations and directions. We decided to custom design b/c we wanted something very different and had trouble finding it!
