I usually go for salmon, but the halibut is covered in pecans with a mango salsa! I've never had halibut, but that sounds SO yummy!!!

I love Salmon....but for my menu I picked the sole oreganato which was excellent. Everyone usually has salmon so I wanted something else

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chilean Sea Bass!!! FH makes it for me sometime topped with pesto.. so yummy!!!!!

You might want to be careful of the swordfish too. I've read that they are very over-fished so they are usually pretty unhealthy, I'll stop there! They other 3 sound safe & yummy!

i love swordfish - grilled with oil, salt and lemon sooo yummy, but if i were deciding my menu and had to choose 1 from the ones u listed i would go with the salmon - still very yummy and i think more people would go for it.

Me too, but becareful! sometimes when restaurants have Escolar (butter fish, etc) they explain it to be like Chilean sea bass, and it is, but DONT get it (Escolar)... you can google it and see why for yourself!... just a friendly warning!

I love Halibut! I also love Chilean Sea Bass. Both are so mild that really it is all about whatever they are smothered in or seasoned with!

We had the Salmon replaced on our menu with Red Snapper....

(I just read about escolar.... egh! I'll make sure about that!).
I also have to make sure my place doesn't charge extra for sea bass. They told me they only charge extra for lobster, yet on one of my papers, it says $5pp extra for sea bass, so I want to see what that's about. If so, it's halibut!

Personally, the only fish I will eat is SWEDISH FISH!!!!!!
*****FYI***** There is a voluntary moratorium on Swordfish(the Gov. asked people to not fish for swordfish because they are at the beginning stages of becoming exstinct. Its voluntary for now but may become manditory.) So this may be a touchy choice for some guests
