What's your favorite pasta shape?

Random question, I know...

I love medium shells...for some reason this has been my favorite shape since I was a kid..my friend and i used to put them on our noses (without sauce, of course!). We also used to float them in our soda and drink from them..gross!!

Anyhow, I made shells for dinner tonight, and asked Brad his favorite shape. He doesn't have one! Do you?

I love pastina, but somehow I never count it as a pasta, even though it obviously is! I guess that's b/c I always ate it for breakfast, not for lunch or dinner.

I also love angelhair and penne..it depends on my mood.

It only tastes different to me when the sauce is different

I think the consistency makes it taste slightly different.

They do! The thick ones taste gummier to me. I like the thin ones better.

For me - it totally depends on what sauce I want - there are certain sauces that go with certain pastas. All in all though, I love rigatoni and spirals - they're fun!

There is a difference in starch amounts between different pasta company's...not The size of the pasta........

I'm not really picky when it comes to pasta, but I'd have to say penne and angel hair are my favorites.
